In the Macworld Conference and Expo for 2006, the MacBook Pro was released. These MacBook Pros only came in 15.4 inch models, at first, with the Powerbook coming in more. These 12-inch, 17-inch, and 15-inch PowerBooks stayed in the Apple Stores, until they ran out. In 2006, the PowerBooks were soon being replaced by the MacBooks, as of the 17-inch PowerBook G4 was replaced with the MacBook Pro 17-inch, and the 12-inch PowerBook G4 remained available until May 16, 2006, when the MacBook was announced for the replacement for the iBook. The 15-year Powerbook line of computers finally ended.
