The iPhone 5C is an iPhone that is designed by Apple and was released on September 10, 2013 (along with the iPhone 5S and iOS 7). The iPhone 5C is made of plastic instead of aluminum like the normal iPhones and, since it is made of plastic it is cheaper than the iPhone 5S and is available in various colors like the 5th Generation iPod.
Apple released the budget-priced $99 iPhone 5c (16 GB model) to compete with other lower priced smartphone models. The device features an A6 chip and an 8 Megapixel camera. The Facetime camera gets an upgrade to HD quality. Other features include the 4 inch retina display and the BlueTooth 4.0 LE and dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n. The iPhone 5c is available in green, yellow, blue, white and red colors. Apple is also releasing cases to go along with the 5c made of silicon rubber. The iPhone 5c is sold at the big three USA carriers; AT&T , Verizon and Sprint. In Canada where the prices and plans are more expensive, you can get one from Rogers, Bell , Koodo, Fido and VirginMobile.
