iOS 11 is an upcoming successor to iOS 10. It was formally announced at the annual Apple WWDC convention, which reveals upcoming features by the company. Some features will be completely redesigned, including the Control Center and the App Store. Also, some completely new features will be introduced for the first time with iOS 11, such as augmented reality. This update is set to "improve the iOS you know and love." Slated for Fall 2017, it will be released alongside the latest iPhone.

Incompatible

With the release of iOS 11, several old Apple devices will be deprecated. Users with these devices will not be able to upgrade to iOS 11 or any later software. The last update for iOS 10 will be the final compatible update for the following devices.
