Apple A6X chip
Apple introduced the Apple A6X with the iPad (4th generation) on 23 October 2012. The A6X is a dual-core processor with a quad-core GPU; Apple claims it doubles the graphics and computer performance compared to the Apple A5X. Ars Technical speculates that the CPUs needs to be running at 1.3 GHz and the GPU parts at 500 MHz for it to satisfy the claims of double the performance of the A5X.The A6X chip is running at 1.4 Ghz, which means it upto twice as fast.
