- July 13: Fruit Ninja HD is released for the 1st-generation iPad.
- July 16: Apple CEO Steve Jobs announces that a free bumper case would be provided to all iPhone 4 users to improve signal bars.
- July 24: Apple Fayette Mall in Lexington, Kentucky is the 298th Apple retail store to be opened.
- July 26: The 24 and 30-inch LED Cinema Displays are discontinued.
- July 27: The 1st-generation Mac Pro is updated to a 2010 model with options for up to 12 cores. The 27-inch LED Cinema Display is also released.
- August 1: gfxCardStatus 1.8 is released.

- August 11: iPhone OS 3.2.2 is released as the final update to iPhone OS 3.
